Wash at a low temperature (no higher than 30ºC/86ºF) with similar colours. Do not dry clean or tumble dry. Please note all of the fabrics have been pre-washed but due to the nature of the natural dyes, there is a chance of some minor colour running during the first washes, particularly for darker fabrics. Darker fabrics may rub if worn with lighter clothes. The excess dye will wash out and this will calm over time.
Due to the block printing technique there may be some slight imperfections in the prints adding to their unique beauty.
The fabulous Sussex-based Ailsa and Melissa, founded Bea Collective in the summer of 2020. All of the pieces are designed, made and created by the girls and and a small team of tailors in Jodphur, India. Melissa met the tailors when she was travelling in India and the idea of Bea was formed. They work hand block printed cotton end of roll, surplus fabrics that otherwise would have gone to waste, some prints they have just a little of and once the design is sold it's gone - a compelling reason to purchase what you love when you see it! All of their prints are named after women and girls in their lives that have bought them happiness, I just love this!
